We are a small group of family and friends, working together to bring you something we love.

From the heart of Napa Valley, California, our goal is simple—to welcome you as an honored guest and share the very best we have to offer. Each bottle of wine we make is one we’d be proud to serve on our own tables. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Exceptional quality is the result of meticulous attention to detail at every stage of the process. Our grapes are sourced directly from a select few carefully-chosen Napa Valley vineyards. We value sustainable farming, including organic and biodynamic practices.

Squam Rock Wines name was inspired by The Great Rock at Annisquam

The inspiration for our name is drawn from cherished childhood memories of summers spent on the East Coast. The Great Rock at Annisquam, known locally as “Squam Rock,” represents permanence, exploration, heritage, and accomplishment. Above all, it is a symbol of family and love.

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with one of Napa Valley’s premier winemakers. Rudy’s love for life and hospitality come through in everything he does. His approach to winemaking is centered on responsible and respectful farming, using organic and biodynamic practices to produce the highest quality fruit and then gently guiding the wine to its fullest expression.

For the original illustrations on our bottles we turned to Chicago-based screenprint artist Jay Ryan. His portfolio includes commissions for Andrew Bird, Neko Case, Conor Oberst, and many others on our Favorites playlist. Jay is the author of Objects and Animals In and Out of Water and 100 Posters, 134 Squirrels. His unique talent for weaving together elements of time, scale, gravity, flora and fauna made him a natural choice to bring our label concepts to life.
